Formed in 2012, the Chiltern Sinfonietta's members are drawn from a very wide variety of professions. But we share one common passion - great music! Although our programmes are built around the major classical period composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert our repertoire spans the chamber orchestra repertoire from the Baroque to the 21st Century. We aim to make our programmes and performances not only exciting, engaging, and musically memorable.  

We give three concerts each year in Tring, and make our concerts as informal, accessible and affordable as possible. Concerts are normally admission free with a retiring collection to cover costs. We often give concerts to raise money for local charities and since we began we have raised over £7,000 for such causes
